Only current members of Mensa Australia can have accounts on this site. Applications will be checked against the current membership list.

If you are not a member of Mensa, your application will be rejected.

If you are a member but don't use the email we have recorded for you, your application will also be rejected.

For your user name enter your

First and last name

separated by a space, preferably using capital letters.

eg Bill Smith.

When logging in, capitals will not be required.

Any frivolous or offensive user names will be rejected.

Your email address must be one that is recorded on the Mensa database.

You should receive, within a few hours an automatically generated email confirming your application for an account has been received and is awaiting approval. If you do not get this, check in your junk mailbox.

Your name and email will be checked so don't apply if you are not a member or with a different email.

There have been a large number of applications from non-members that have been rejected. In future, non members will no longer receive a rejection email. If you are a member and do not receive an approval email within 7 days, please email the membership secretary.

However sometimes these emails, together with the one giving you password, may be perceived as spam, so check your spam/junk mailboxes.

We have no members in Russia and very few that don't have a .au email. Even hotmail and gmail addresses are suspect, so if you use those make sure you put your FULL NAME. To be honest, it's easier to reject an application than accept one.

Members - you get 2 chances. You will be approved if your email matches the database. If not, then your name is checked. If you don't put your full name as your user name you may be rejected as well.
